The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has embarked on a two-week warning strike. Biodun Ogunyemi, national president of the union, announced this at the end of the national executive council meeting at Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT).
Emir of Kano, Malam Muhammadu Sanusi ll has been dethroned over disrespect to the office of the governor and other government agencies. The Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Usman Alhaji, said the removal was with immediate effect.
A Nigerian man who had contact with Nigeria’s index case, the Italian has tested positive for coronavirus. Osagie Ehanire, minister of health, made this known at a press briefing in Edo state on Monday, as he urged Nigerians not to panic.
