Popular human rights activist, Deji Adeyanju has condemned the Kano State Government over the dethronement of former Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.
Sanusi, a former Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, was dethroned and banished to Awe Local Government in Nassarawa.

Sanusi was later freed after a court order in Abuja. He left the Awe with Kaduna Governor, Nasir El-rufai to Abuja then went to Lagos.
Reacting to development, Adeyanju expressed his joy seeing the former Emir released.
