Following the removal of Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, on Monday, security operatives have reportedly stormed the palace.
The security personnel are said to be stationed at the entrance of the palace of the Emir of Kano in Kano State, Channels TV reports.

Sanusi II, was removed from office by the state government, following allegations of disrespecting state government and constituted authorities.
According to Channels TV, the team of security personnel at the traditional ruler’s palace included men of the Nigeria Police and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
