Osun Reopens Hotels, Relaxation Centres, Others

Governor of Osun State, Gboyega Oyetola has ordered the reopening of hotels, relaxation centres and other public spaces for business activities.

This move is coming following the drop in the number of COVID-19 cases in the State.

Hotels, relaxation centres, hairdressing salons and barbershops in the state are to reopen on August 28.

This was made known in a statement on Wednesday by Niyi Ajibola, the Chief Press Secretary of the state’s deputy governor, Benedict Alabi.

Mr. Alabi also doubles as the chairperson of the state’s technical committee on Covid-19.

According to the statement, the announcement was made to representatives of owners of hotels, bars, relaxation joints and others at a meeting in his office on Wednesday.
