It has been reported that the UK parliament has fixed 23rd November 2023 to debate sanctions against president Muhammadu Buhari over the Lekki massacre.

According to a twitter user and lawyer, Tope Akinyode, he wrote;
This is coming after CNN shed more light on the Lekki massacre that took place on the 20th of October, 2020.
