Domestic Violence: ‘Abuse Is Abuse And It Is Wrong On All Levels’ – Mercy Johnson-Okojie

Popular Nigerian actress, Mercy Johnson-Okojie has said that there is no justification for abuse as it is wrong on all levels.

This comes in the wake of the trending domestic violence situation involving a medical doctor, Ifeyinwa Angbo, and her husband, Pius Angbo, a staff of Channels TV.

The medical doctor had called out her husband of six years for assaulting her.

Information Nigeria recently gathered that the governor of Benue state, Samuel Ortom, had resolved the issues between the couple and they were back together.

Taking to her Instagram page on Tuesday, Mercy shared a photo of herself and in the caption, she outlined the different forms of abuse.

The mother of four condemned domestic violence as she wrote;

“Abuse could be physical,emotional or mental..(abuse is abuse whichever way) .And it is wrong on all levels…
I don’t judge choices without understanding reasons….you may think you understand but you dont…
May God give us the strength to know what is right and wrong….plus when to say it is enough……..”
