In a new post on his Twitter page, Omokri stated that had he been the President, he would have paid a condolence visit to the families of the victims, declared national mourning after addressing the nation, replace the service chiefs and deploy the Chief of Army Staff to the terrorist hotspot.

He wrote:

“If I were in @MBuhari’s shoes and #Zabarmarimassacre occurred, I would have cordoned off the sector, visited the town, then immediately rush back to Abuja to address the nation, declare a national mourning, replace my service chiefs, and deploy the chief of Army Staff to Borno!”
