Alaka Obi, the Nigerian man accused of raping Nigerian singer, Queency Benna has finally broken his silence.
Information Nigeria recalls the singer had cried out for help after she claimed
that the man had forcefully slept with her in an hotel in Abuja.
During an Instagram live chat with Ubi Franklin, the man shared his own side of the story and he also leaked his private conversation with the singer.
The young man, who happens to be a doctor, alleged that he befriended the singer after they met sometime this year. He revealed that he had invited the singer for a party in Abuja and she told him to pay for her flight, book her hotel and also give her money. He said he cut her off after that.
Obi noted that the singer later contacted him and told him she wanted to relocate to Abuja and needed to rent a place to stay. He then suggested that they hang out and she agreed to do dinner with him. The man said that Benna moved into Hilton the following day and he went there to meet her. He noted he had been plain with her from the onset as he had told her that he would like to sleep with her.
The man claimed that the singer told him to pay $1000 before he could sleep with her and he refused, saying that he could only pay N200,000. However, the singer turned down the request, saying the money was small.
Obi said that they parted ways but they eventually met up and they had sex. He mentioned that he had told her to stay back for one more night and she stated her terms, to which he agreed but he failed to meet the end of his bargain.
Many people believe it is a case of hoax as the leaked chat reveals that the singer had reached out to him, asking for her money. When that wasn’t forthcoming, she threatened to go on social media to call him out and she later followed through on her threats.
