Recession: Sell 9 Out Of 10 Presidential Jets, Omokri Tells Buhari
Reno Omokri

Reno Omokri, a former presidential aide has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to sell a large chunk of the jets in the presidential fleet in light of the current recession the country is experiencing.

Recall that some weeks ago, Nigeria entered into another recession, the second since President Buhari took over in 2015.

According to Reno, since the President’s only travels to visit his doctors in the United Kingdom, the remaining 9 jets in the presidential fleet should be sold to cut the cost of governance.

He wrote:

“We are in a recession, yet General #Buhari has 10 Presidential Jets. The only travels he does is to go to his UK doctors, or junket the world looking for who will borrow him money. Cut your coat according to your cloth, and sell 9 out of 10. This is why you should join #EndSARS”
