The committee was saddled with the responsibility of developing a blueprint on how to end drug abuse in Nigeria.
According to reports, the appointment takes immediate effect.
Reacting to this development, a former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri while congratulating the former military administrator, accused President Buhari of nepotism.
He wrote:
I congratulate Buba Marwa on his appointment by #Buhari as DG of NDLEA
But I have a question
Is it that @MBuhari will die if he appoints a qualified Southerner to a strategic position?
