The newly elected chairman of Bebeji local government council of Kano state, Ali Namadi, has died on Tuesday.
He was 57 at the time of his death and he will be buried on Tuesday in his Bebeji residence, according to Islamic rites.
A spokesman of an APC committee in Bebeji local government area, Ibrahim Adamu Tiga confirmed the development to Channels Television on Tuesday morning.
He revealed that the chairman died at 1.am on Tuesday.
He said, “Alhaji Ali Namadi was hale and hearty on Monday and was receiving guests till 10.30 pm, he was hypertensive.”
The late Namadi was elected under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the just concluded council elections in Kano on Saturday, January 16, 2021.
