Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Kemi Lala-Akindoju has stated that the Nigerian government takes pleasure in harassing peaceful protesters simply demanding an end to the infringement of their human rights.
The movie star took to her official Twitter page to condemn the harassment of peaceful protesters by the Nigerian law enforcement agents primarily saddled with the responsibility of protecting the lives and property of citizens.
In her words:
”I haven’t heard or seen any arrests made after what happened in Obalende a few days ago. But to pick up and harass peaceful protesters exercising their rights is where we would see the Nigerian government and law enforcement agencies. #EndSARS”
