Popular media personality, Shade Ladipo has stated that everyone should normalize calling people by their first names.
Taking to her Instagram page, the TV host says respect should not be tied to titles such as ‘ma’, ‘sir’, ‘madam’, ‘boss’. Ladipo also implied that calling people by their first name does not denote disrespect.
In her words:
”Let’s normalize calling people by their first names All this Ma Sir Madam Boss It Doesn’t do anything for anybody Respect isn’t/shouldn’t be tied to any of these yeye titles”
