Ekiti govt threatens to take over uncompleted buildings, says they house criminals

Ekiti State Government has sent out a warning to owners of abandoned buildings in the state to complete and take possession of their properties less they forfeit it to the government.

Ekiti State Government said those uncompleted buildings are been used for criminals’ hideout and it will no longer fold it arms to see those buildings been converted as hideout for hoodlums.

On behalf of the State Government, in Ado Ekiti, the State’s Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Princess Iyabo Fakunle-Okiemen regrets that most abandoned buildings are now then for criminals.

She promised that the Fayemi-Led State Government will not relent in securing lives and properties.
