Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, has revealed that bandits in the state are being fought by communities in the state.
He stated this during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Tuesday night.
“In Nasarawa, what we do is that the moment we see the bandits coming in, we alert our people. These people are coming to your side and the information is there. The communities rise up to the occasion and also the communities fight them,” he said.
Governor Sule also blamed the banditry activities in Zamfara State on illegal mining being carried out in the state.
He added that those stoking problems in the north-western were interested in illegal mining.
