Popular media personality, Shade Ladipo, has advised Nigerians to stop patronizing actresses who sell skincare products.
It has become a common trend among actresses in Nollywood to delve into skincare as a side business.
Ladipo, however, finds the trend ignorant and has issued a note of warning via her Instagram Stories.

She wrote:
“If you have a heart problem, you wouldn’t go to a car mechanic – you would go to a cardiologist, right? So why in the world would you buy skincare from an actress? See be careful all this rubbish you buy unto glowing. People are mixing sheet and calling it soap and cream on these streets”
