
Iba Gani Adams, Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yoruba land, has bemoaned the country’s rising food and key commodity prices ahead of Christmas and New Year.
He claimed that such development was bad for Nigeria as a country and that it was making life more difficult for Nigerians.
He said that even during festive seasons, prices of all commodities remained unchanged in industrialized countries around the world because a price control mechanism was in place to address this.

This was stated by Adams at the Ogun Festival 2021, which was hosted at Ikorodu Town Hall in Ikorodu, Lagos.
Nigerians, he claims, have always been at the mercy of greedy businessmen and sellers who arbitrarily set the pricing of their wares.
