Arsenal is prepared to offer up to £25million for the Douglas Luiz. Luiz, who currently plays for Villa, scored against Arsenal yesterday. The player now has less than 12 months on his contract with Villa.
Villa seems not to want to let the Brazillian go, especially on the deadline day but might lose the ex-Man City man for free if he decides not to sign a contract.
And after the game yesterday, Luiz’s manager Steven Gerrard said he did not know if the 24-year-old Luiz would stay since he was not in control of the situation.
