Arsenal’s Ethan Nwaneri made history on Sunday as he became the youngest player to feature in the premier league, at age 15 and 118 days.
Nwaneri achieved the feat by featuring in Arsenal’s 3-0 victory over Brentford at the Brentford Community Stadium.
The previous-youngest had been Harvey Elliot who played his debut against Fulham at the age of 16 and 30 days.
The Arsenal’s Academy product also broke the Arsenal youngest player record previously held by Jack Wilshere. He was 16 years and 30 days old when he featured for Arsenal against Blackburn Rovers in 2008.
Although Nwaneri couldn’t impact the game, but his introduction is circled with hope and prospects for the teenager.
Arsenal now tops the Premier League going into the International break, and many Arsenal fans will expect to see more of Nwaneri in subsequent games.
