Jose Peseiro, head coach of the super eagles, has released a 25-man squad list for the international friendly against Algeria.
Some injured key players have made it difficult for Peseiro to release the 25-man list earlier.
Maduka Okoye of Watford will return to the team, while Victor Osimhen, Umar Sadiq, and Semi Ajayi were expectedly omitted due to injury.
Raphael Onyedika received his debut call-up after his impressive campaign for Belgian Pro League champions, Club Brugge.
Nigeria will play Algeria at the Miloud Hadefi Stadium, Oran, on Tuesday, September 27.
