The 34-year-old player has been linked with several European clubs this window.
Leicester City was reported to have shown interest in the player, but the Foxes denied the report.

The Greek giants confirmed the signing of Marcelo on Friday, with the deal allowing him to sign for another year upon completion of his first season.
Olympiacos has also brought in Hwang Ui-jo and Josh Bowler this summer.
