Reps Resume Plenary Sept 20 At Temporary Chamber
Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila

The House of Representatives will resume plenary on Sept. 20, at the temporary chamber.

This was said in a statement made on Sunday in Abuja by Mr. Yahaya Danzaria, the Clerk of the House.

Danzaria stated that members are anticipated to resume plenary at the new, improvised chamber in the new building with a capacity of just 118 seats due to the ongoing refurbishment in the old chamber.

He said that a 236-seat upper deck provision had been added to the new chamber, expanding its space, and that enormous screens had been used to connect the rooms electrically and audio-visually.

He added that all other seating arrangements will depend on people’s arrivals and that there were only reserved seats for the presiding and principal officers.
