The Department of State Services (DSS) on Sunday hinted that the investigation of Tukur Mamu had produced shocking revelations.
Mamu is the negotiator between the government and terrorists who kidnapped Abuja-Kaduna train passengers in March.
He was returned home on Wednesday after being detained in Cairo, Egypt’s capital, as he attempted to travel to Saudi Arabia.

Peter Afunanya, the DSS’s public relations officer, claimed that the agency had seen overly enthusiastic remarks made by some members of the public.
The agency will not be distracted, the spokesman promised, by the skewed narratives flooding the media.
The DSS also requested to be left alone to concentrate on investigations it disclosed resulted in mind-boggling outcomes.
