Nigerian Defender William Troost-Ekong will miss Super Eagles’ friendly agaisnt Algeria on Tuesday due to injury.
Ekong joins Leon Balogun and Wilfred Ndidi as players of Super Eagles players that have pulled out of the friendly.
The Watford player was declared unavailable for the game after the injury he suffered in the test game with the Algerian team B on Friday.
The Super Eagles announced the injury to Ekong through its official Twitter handle. NGSuperEagles wrote: “William Troost-Ekong has left camp as a result of an injury cropped during the test game yesterday. He is back to base for further checks. Wishing you a speedy recovery Ekong.”
