2023: I’ll Increase Nigeria’s Security Personnel By 400% – Kwankwaso Pledges

In a bid to tackle existing and future challenges of the Nigeria’s security, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the presidential candidate of New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), has promised to strengthen the country’s security architecture by 400 per cent.

At a campaign in Dutse, the Jigawa State capital, Kwankwaso noted that lingering security challenge in the country is a source of concern as people are killed and property destroyed on a daily basis.

He disclosed that the lackadaisical attitude shown by the authorities to increase the number of security personnel, provide modern weapons and other technical support, makes it difficult for the country to overcome its challenges.

“Considering the Nigerian population and comparing it with the number of security personnel, there is no way that they (security personel) can handle crime and criminal activities in Nigeria.
