Man City, PSG Handed Uefa Sanctions for Failing FFP Rules

Premier League club Manchester City and french Ligue 1 outfit Paris St. Germain (PSG) are facing Uefa sanctions for breaching financial fair play (FFP) rules.

Both clubs are facing fines in the region of €60m (£50m), a restriction on their Champions League squad to a 21-man instead of the usual 25 players next season and a potential wage cap.

The wage limit to ensure there is no rise on this season’s squad age bill for the Champions league.

Both clubs have until the end of the week to reach an agreement with Uefa over the sanctions.
