Plateau State Governor, Jonah Mr Jang, who is embroiled in a leadership tussle of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) with Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State, has apologised to Nigerians over some of the issues raised at the Forum’s election last Friday.
Jang, who was speaking in Jos while receiving members of the Executive Council of North Central zone of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), led by Yusuf Ayitogo, who paid him a solidarity visit over his claimed election victory at the NGF, said that his leadership will correct the mistakes of the past while efforts are ongoing to reconcile all aggrieved members of the Forum.
He also assured the visiting executives that the Forum will work out a permanent structure in choosing its leadership without rancour by reverting to the original constitution that does not give room for a second term in office.
Ayitogo, who led the delegation and doubles as vice chairman of PDP in north central zone, affirmed the ability of Governor Jang in reconciling all aggrieved members and urged other governors to give Jang the opportunity to reorganise the Forum.
Pls who declear jang as d winner? Wen it has already b anounced dat amaechi had d highest votes. Am confused what’s really happening????
Jang shld considred himself too old for GEJ and Akpabio to be using aganist the wishes of 160millons nigerians, pls check ur date of birth.
This jamg is mad
Hmm! In a democratic setting, the winner is normally the candidate with d highest vote. How did jang now won d ngf election. What is d diff btw this regime, tyranny & dictatorship setting? The presidency shld bury their faces in shame. It’s barbaric & absurd dat this is happening in Nigeria. Jang, it will be a big shame on u if u allow these devil incarnate to push u around. And if u do, d future nigerian wont forget d role u played in bastardizing this country. Long live Nigeria.
Both the presidency and Jang are out of their senses
Its a pity that Jang who cannot run his state without one clashes to another crisis want to run 36 states! Let him go ahead and run 17 states. PECULIAR MESS!
What nonsense are they talking about..? All dis for power and ambition, honestly I’m terribly ashamed of Jang and his cohorts…He is a disgrace to d state he governs..!
I thought Jang wants to say something useful. I don’t want to say anythin on this again, but if Gov. Amechi is not reinstated as the NGF chair, jonathan’s failure come 2015 is guaranteed. This is the highest level of political imaturity by these disgruntled elements (PDP).
Gov. Jonah Jang is too old to remember he could father most of de PDP members messing him around or could it be adolesence carry over? Shame on him nd his sponsors.
Jang, a trully jaga jaga man, shaneless people, i came reading thinking Jang was going to tell the world the trith… Hhhhsssssssss
D president can see now what is going to happen in 2015
Am just confused please who is the chairman of this forum considering the outcome of the election. Am surprised if 35 governor can not conduct election between them and come out with one voice to tell us who won and who fail the election l wonder how 2015 will look like.
Mr jaga jaga whatever ur name u r a big foolish nd ur supporters
