Earthquake In Central Italy Leaves 300 Dead

At least 300 people are feared dead following a powerful earthquake in Central Italy. Several other people have been injured in the Sunday morning quake which destroyed several towns.

Castelsantangelo, Précis, Ussita, and Arquata are just some of the towns and villages destroyed by the magnitude 6.6 earthquake.

Rescue efforts are ongoing as people are being pulled out of the rubble of collapsed buildings. Nine people have been rescued so far.
