Puffy eyes? Here’s 3 Natural Ways to Deal With It

Not only does having bags under the eyes give you a tired look, it is also a result of daily stressful living (lack of proper sleep).   • Ice Cubes

It has been proven over time that ice cubes work to relieve tired looking eye bags in a matter of minutes. Here’s how; start by lying down first and placing the ice cubes over the eyes especially placing the ice cubes on the area where there are bags. Then wear a sleeping mask or have a clean piece of clothing to keep the ice cubes in place for a few minutes at a time. Do this for as long as you can bear at a time then continue till you get the desired result. Apply moisturizer afterwards and then makeup as you so desire.

  • Tea bags

Although hard to believe, tea can also be used for external purposes. Especially caffeinated tea, which contains natural tannins, is a mild diuretic and long-used by grandmothers and runway models for reducing eye puffiness. Soak two tea bags in warm water, and then chill the bags for a few minutes in the refrigerator. Place one tea bag on each eye for five minutes, and your eyes will feel fresh.

  • Cucumber

This is one of the few vegetables that all parts are useful and healthy. When your eyes are red and puffy, cut a couple slices of cold cucumber, lie down, and put a slice over each eye for 30 minutes. Once you’re up, your eyes will be brighter and your body refreshed.
