Dolphin FC Players Call Off Strike.

Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) club, Dolphins, have called off the indefinite strike embarked upon by the players. The players went on an industrial action to press home demands for the non- payment of one hundred percent of their signing- on fees for the 2011/ 2012 season.
The industrial action was called off after a meeting between the players and the River State Commissioner for sports, Fred Igwe, on Friday. The players have agreed to go back to training after the two parties reached a resolution at the meeting.
Part of the resolution reached includes that:
– Players retained from the 2011/ 2012 football season would be paid N1 million each on Monday April 8.
– Players who left at the end of the season, however, will not be paid on Monday.
– The players will get the rest of their money by the end of April, 2013.
