3SC Set for Massive Reorganisation Ahead of the NNL Season.

Relegated Shooting Stars are set to axe their head coach Hakeem Busari as part of plans aimed at “reorganising” the club for an instant return to the top flight.

3SC finished the 2012/13 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season bottom of the 20-team table on Sunday, after 38 rounds of matches.

A member of the management board, Tunde Kelani, has revealed that moves for a massive reorganisation of the Ibadan-based club in a bid to ensure swift return to the NPFL is ongoing.

“We have already begun a massive reorganisation of the club because we do not belong in the second division and we need to start getting results,” Kelani told MTNFootball.com.

“What we need at this time is everyone’s support and not sabotage. There is strength in unity and commitment.

“We hope we can return to the Premier League after one season in the lower division.”

The last time the club partook in the Nigeria National League (NNL) it took two seasons for a return to the top flight, after their 2006 relegation.

Reports gathered suggest coach Busari, who took over the reins midway through the just concluded NPFL season and was issued several ultimatums during the course of his short spell, is in line to be fired; alongside his assistants led by Tunde Odubola.
