5 Annoying Things Grooms Do that Drive Brides Mad

article-20131233612542946469000Dear ‘to-be’ husbands, there is no doubt about the fact that your fiancés love you to the core but some of your annoying habits can drive them off the cliff as well. We are sure most women would agree that intentionally or unintentionally, grooms do some annoying things that can easily tick their sweethearts off. For those of you, who are still in the good books of your bride-to-be and plan to remain there, read on to know about the things that can surely annoy your fiancée.

1. Selective hearing
This, in other words is the greatest weapons of all times that men use to annoy their brides. They will listen to the things that concern them or interest them in some way and choose to ignore the rest. And then later on their answer to any question will always be- ‘you never said this!’ or ‘how would I know if no one told me?’ Guys, instead off hitting your snooze buttons when your bride talks about the wedding, please listen to what she has to say carefully and sportingly. After all, it is your wedding as well.

2. Ignoring the finances
Some men have the habit of being completely indifferent towards the finances of the wedding. Be it the wedding outfits, the caterers, the decorators or anything else. Most women if not all, like to plan things according to a set budget. After all, in an Indian setup it is the bride’s family that pays for most of the wedding functions. In weddings especially, one does not even realise how expensive some things can turn out to be at the end and money seems to flow like water. So dear fiancé’s, your indifference to this fact can be nerve wrecking for your soon-to-be bride.

3. Blaming the bride’s family
Dear grooms, remember that weddings are a very stressful time as it is and to top it off, no woman would like to see any fingers being pointed towards her family.

4. The interfering types
‘I don’t like the colour of your headtie’ or ‘why are you inviting that guy to the wedding’; some men are very interfering for no specific reason. It could be an insecurity or anxiety for some but for others it is just their nature. It is good that you have an opinion to give and you are being vocal about it but, there is no need for unnecessary meddling. Any unnecessary interference in the wedding decisions can spoil any bride’s mood.

5. Not putting in equal amount of efforts
Planning a wedding is not just a woman’s job. Some men have the tendency to just throw their weight around and not put in any efforts towards the wedding chores. Lazing around, hanging out with friends, organising bachelor nights every other day, etc. can and will irritate your bride. If marriage is the union of two people, then why not divide the work and responsibilities as well?
So all you grooms out there, keep in mind these points and make your wedding experience a happy and a memorable moment for your bride!
