Nigerian Men’s Handball Team continued their woeful performance in the ongoing African Cup of Nations (CAN-2014), losing their third Group B match to Congo.

Congo beat Nigeria 32-28 on Saturday as the the West Africans still await their first win in the group stage.

The loss came on the wake of another 27-19 loss to Angola and their opening day 34-16 thrashing by the hosts Algeria, who now leads the group standings with six points.

With all hopes of reaching the 2015 World Cup now expended, Nigeria will be playing for pride later today (Monday) when they face Morocco in Harcha Hall, Algiers, Algeria.
