Dream Team VI Arrives Gabon For All-Africa Games Qualifier

Nigeria’s Under-23 national team landed at the Leon Mba International Airport, Libreville on Thursday ahead of Saturday’s All-Africa Games qualifying tie with Gabon.

The delegation, led by Director of Technical, Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Dr. Emmanuel Ikpeme, touched down few minutes after noon via an Ethiopia Airline flight from Addis Ababa.

The team is quartered at the Hotel Boulevard in the Gabonese capital.

Players and officials were received on arrival by the Head of Chancery in the Embassy of Nigeria, Mrs. Cecilia Eteng, the public relations officer of the Nigeria Community in Gabon, Hon. Myke Iwu and some members of the Nigerian Community in Gabon and the Nigeria Football Supporters Club.

Member of the NFF Executive Committee, Chris Green, will join the delegation of Friday.

The Dream Team VI are expected to have a feel of the natural turf of the Stade Augustin Monedan a Sibang- venue of the qualifier- on Friday.

Kickoff: 3:30pm Saturday.
