LMC Delivers Customised Match Tickets to Globacom

Globacom has received 95,000 popular terrace match tickets and 9500 reserved terrace access cards from the League Management Company (LMC).

The telecommunication giants signed a three- year, one billion, eight hundred and ninety- six million, seven hundred and thirty thousand naira (N1,896, 730, 000) sponsorship deal with the Nigerian League body in May 2013.

Chairman of the LMC, Alhaji Shehu Dikko, says the customised cards exclusively produced for Globacom is in furtherance of the League’ renewed commitment to delivering world class hospitality services to sponsors of the league.

He said: “The LMC cherishes its relationship with Globacom and other partners and will continuously explore opportunities to deliver platforms for our sponsors to earn qualitative and quantitative return on their investments in the League.

“These tickets and access cards with accreditation tags for Globacom field staff is part of our effort to improve our sponsorship servicing to ensure investors in the league derive maximum benefits.”

Printed in fine quality stationery, the tickets allow instant passage to any Glo Premier League match by holders the sponsor elects to treat to the increasingly improving match day experience of football fans.

Average attendance at Glo Premier League games has risen from about 2500 in the 2013/14 season to over 6000 this season, a development informed observers attribute to reforms which the LMC initiated and began implementing since the 2012/2013 season.

The LMC said all clubs participating in the League have been communicated to provide necessary support to Globacom officials by facilitating all their sponsorship activation programs at match venues.

The tickets delivered to Globacom covers the remaining match days of the second stanza of the 2014/15 season. They were specially designed with security marks that will make counterfeiting impossible.
