You Won’t Believe Why This 75-Yr-Old Man Wants To End His Marriage Of 26 Years

A customary court yesterday, September 7, in Ado-Ekiti dissolved the 26-year-old marriage between James Kayode Oguntuase, and his wife, Felicia, over sexual deprivation, Vanguard reports.

Oguntuase, a 75-year-old bricklayer, sued Felicia, 53, a trader, accusing her of denying him sex, and of adultery, stealing, stubbornness and lack of care for him.

The petitioner told the court that he had caught his wife with three different men, adding that she had aborted three pregnancies for her lovers.

Oguntuase also alleged that his wife stole N35,000 belonging to him, and said he had taken his wife to court in 2013 on account of alleged sexual escapades.

He urged the court to grant him custody of the children, promising to be responsible for them.

The marriage is blessed with six children, Caroline, 25; Peter, 23; Akin, 18; Ife, 15; Rachel, 12; and Tolulope, 6.

Felicia, in her response, said she denied her husband sex on grounds of ill-health, and denied the allegations of adultery and stealing, pleading with the court not to dissolve the marriage.

Joseph Ogunsemi, the court president, dissolved the marriage, stating that the marriage had broken down irreversibly as the two parties have failed to settle the dispute amicably.

The court granted custody of the children below the age of 18 to the petitioner, while Peter and Akin, who are above 18 are free to decide where to stay.

Oguntuase was also ordered by the court to arrange for an alternative accommodation for the wife.

The respondent was ordered by the court to always assist the petitioner in the upkeep of the under-aged children, while she should be allowed visitation between 7am and 6pm on days she chooses to visit.

In another development, an Ekiti-based businessman, Muyiwa Owolabi, has reportedly taken his wife, Tinuola, to an Ado Ekiti Customary Court to dissolve their 10-year-old marriage over his wife’s illicit affairs on social media.
