Less than 24 hours after a new Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation in the person of Dr. Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu was appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari, all Group Executive Directors (GEDs) of the corporation have been sacked effective immediately.
The GEDs fired are Mr. Ian Udoh (Refining and Petrochemicals), Mr. Adebayo Ibirogba (Engineering and Technical), Dr. David Ige (Gas and Power), Dr. Attahir Yusuf (Business Development), Dr. Dan Efebo (Corporate Services), Bernard Otti (Finance and Accounts), Ms. Aisha Abdurrahman (Commerce and Investments) and Mr. Joseph Dawha (Exploration and Production).
Former President Goodluck Jonathan appointed all these GEDs in March, 2014.
The new GEDs are Dr. M.K Baru (Refining and Engineering), Denis Nnamdi (Exploration and Production), Bankole Komolafe (Commercial and Investment) and Isiaka AbdulRazak (Finance).
