The National Assembly Election Tribunal sitting in Ilorin, Kwara State on Tuesday upheld the election of Dr. Bukola Saraki as the senator representing Kwara Central senatorial District.
Abdulrahman Abdulrasak of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had challenged Saraki’s victory at the tribunal.
The Justice Josiah Majebi-led three-man tribunal in its ruling, said the petition by the PDP candidate was baseless and that the evidence provided lacked merit.
