MTN NIGERIA Job Description:
Manage the entire process of preparation, production and submission of NWG annual budget
Liaise with MTN NIGERIA Marketing department to obtain marketing inputs that drive NWG budget process
Manage the Budget and Business planning team and provide leadership on an on going basis
Manage the development, implementation and control of NWG budget design and business plan processes in line with organizational requirements.
Prepare NWG quarterly Capital expenditure boards papers for MTN Nigeria board approval
Provision of input into the development of MTN NIGERIA business plan Responsible for managing the overall preparation, design and coordination of NWG annual budget and 10 year business plan forecast based on the set NWG rollout/build objective.
Identify developmental activities for divisional staff and assist them in building new skills Coach and mentor direct reports on job. Conduct performance reviews as per the MTN NIGERIA company policy
Prepare and circulate monthly report of MTN NIGERIA Network KPIs (Actual vs. Budget).
Review monthly MTN NIGERIA actual expenditure in line with budget assumption to facilitate quarterly Opex and Capex forecast.
Analyze the assumptions used in the MTN NIGERIA Business plan to ensure an appreciable level of predictability and to reduce unexpected results
Job Conditions: Normal MTN NIGERIA working conditions Extended working hours International and Local travel as required
Reporting To: MTN NIGERIA Senior Manager Network Financial Control
MTN NIGERIA Required Skills: Good understanding of basic GSM and fixed network architecture and design
Minimum of five(5) years consistent work experience covering similar functions in multinational manufacturing and telecommunication companies
Two(2) plus years in managerial roles in multinational industry, previous experience in a Senior Management role is essential.
Two(2) years experience in a GSM company, Previous experience in a large GSM Network roll out environment would be a distinct advantage
MTN NIGERIA Qualification: First degree in Accounting or Economics or related area of study A professional Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) MBA is desirable
