Role Summary/Purpose: 
The Maintenance Quality Engineer-F&E will be responsible for maintaining Vetco Subsea Wellhead running tools which involves monitoring/recording offshore usage, determining maintenance/inspection levels.Also,
disassembling/inspection & assembling of tools based on the approved maintenance/inspection level,
carrying out equipment function testing to the company quality standards,developing work pack and signing
off inspection report/documentation.

Essential Responsibilities: 
Quality

– Carry out quality inspection and ensure all tools meet quality standard

– Adhere to company quality standards at all times

– Assemble products in accordance with applicable drawings and engineering part specifications and
any specific assembly procedures

– Participate in cross-functional teams in root cause analysis and corrective actions

– Accountable for quality assurance – ensuring every activity undertaken meets company quality
requirements to achieve, zero NPT, zero Incident/Accident

– Carry out 5s checks in working area

– Report any tooling requirements not planned for and escalate to Lead Fleet & Equipment Manager

– Ensure internal or external inspection reports are completed properly and passed to Engineering for
disposition

– Generate Nonconformance reports when quality issue is found and ensure follow up, resolution and
prevention of future occurrences

– Generate Maintenance Work pack and track maintenance duration.

– Maintain Fleet & Equipment Maintenance Package for every asset and ensure full data package are
dispatched to Customers

– Full responsibility for identification and execution of continuous quality improvement to
mitigate/prevent known and potential quality issues.

– Oversee Quality portion of F&E final inspection and load out/ ensure that documentation package is
completed

Productivity/Cost

– Bring to the attention of the Lead F & E Manager any problems with maintenance processes

– Complete operations within the standard time given on work order routings

– Ensure accurate recording of direct hours and timely completion of daily job cards

– Work closely with Lead F & E Manager and ME to eliminate roadblocks and communication barriers
that may affect quality and delivery requirements

Qualifications/Requirements: 

– Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Quality Control/Assurance Certification will be an added advantage).

– 3 to 5 years Subsea Equipment Inspection/Maintenance Experience (Knowledge of Vetco Gray Equipment)

Knowledge/Skills

– Excellent interpersonal skills

– Capable to work as a team to always fulfill urgent requirement from customers

– Fluent English, both written and spoken

– Be familiar with Microsoft office, Primavera P6 and ISO standard
