On Saturday 5th January, the Senior Pastor of Kingsway International Christian Centre, London, Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, doled out clothes and other household items worth millions of Naira to no fewer than 2,000 widows spread across Osun state.
The beneficiaries were drawn from Ode Omu, home town of the cleric and Modakeke, headquarters of Ife East Area office of the state.
On hand to support the preacher at the event which held at the site of the proposed King’s University, Ode Omu, were Christian leaders from across the country, including Bishop Mike Bamidele of The Victory Chapel International, the state Deputy Governor, Mrs Grace Tomori ably represented by a Special Adviser to the Governor, Dr Yinusa and sultry Nollywood actress, Chika Ike.
