Nigeria U20 striker Umar Aminu will sign a three-year contract with Turkish second division side Samsunspor on Thursday afternoon, according to the player’s agent, Hichem Sahili.
Aminu passed his medical conducted at the Medicana Hospital in Samsun and has will wear the number 20 shirt.
“Aminu will officially sign his contract with Samsunspor on Thursday by 2pm local time, which is 4pm Nigerian time,” his Germany-based agent, Sahili, told MTNFootball.com.
“He has been giving jersey number 20 and the league will kick off on August 17.”
Aminu, who emerged highest goal scorer at the 2013 African Youth Championship in Algeria with four goals, also scored two goals at the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey- where the Flying Eagles lost out in the second-round.
