Main Accountabilities

    • ACCESS CONTROL SUPERVISOR :- Ensuring that all visitors, contractors, suppliers et-al doing business with Unilever Nigeria Plc, Agbara site follow the site visiting regulations and comply with 0830hrs to 12 noon and 14 hours – 16 hours
    • ENDORSEMENT OF GOODS IN /GOODS OUT:- co-ordinationof goods coming into and going out of the site by inspecting with the requesting department representative and endorsing same
    • SUPERVISION OF THIRD PARTY SECURITY: Supervising of RSSSL operatives posted to the Agbara site in carrying out their security assignments.
    • ENFORCEMENT OF SITE SHE POLICY: – Ensuring that all security operatives attends SHE induction on resumption of duty at site, enforcement of SHE regulation within Agbara site
    • SUPERVISION OF SECURITY OPERATIONS: – Supervising of security activities within the Agbara site by checking tirelessly pilfering activities, breach of security , crime situations, employee activities and security of lives and properties within Agbara Site
    • DIRECT REPORT TO CSO: -Direct prompt reports to CSO on daily security situations both within and outside Agbara Site, investigation and other reports significant to security department
    • EMERGENCY/CRISIS MANAGEMENT CONTROL MEMBER: – Agbara site emergency/crisis management control member, ensuring that the above situation is supervised immediately before the arrival of the Chief Security officer and other emergency/crisis management control duties as may be designated

Qualification/Experience Required

    • Be a mature individual, with a broad experience in security operations.
    • Possess good communication skills in English, which he is able to exercise at all levels (Spoken and Written).
    • Minimum academic qualification of OND or equivalent.
    • Be capable of gathering information from internal and external sources.
    • Ability to understand threats or potential threats to Company personnel and assets and possible checks to mitigate those threats.
    • Being capable of issuing clear written and verbal orders.
    • Have the ability to coordinate the activities of contracted guard force with a clear understanding of the hierarchy and operations.
    • Have a basic knowledge of the use of the computer in information storage and transfer.
    • Be capable of written simple initial reports in respect of events or incidents.
