Job Description

Responsible for the management of Multinational Company accounts.

Oversee the engagement, conceptualisation, planning, development and closure of all sales opportunities within the segment.

Operational:

  1. Develops and implement business plans and sales strategy for all multinational companies within Nigeria and ensures attainment of group sales goals and profitability
  2. Foster and build good MNC customer relationships for revenue growth and customer retention. Engage MNC customers up to CXO level; Build senior level relationships in assigned accounts and expertise within the market.
  3. Provide sales leadership to the Corporate Sales Managers in the OpCos by capturing opportunities group-wide, mentoring, motivating, encouraging, and delivering results; Responsible for building and growing the sales targets for the segment;
  4. Understand and identify customer’s ICT/telecommunication needs through in-depth account planning profiling and ADPs.
  5. Understand and appreciate market trends, competitors’ movement and industry information so as to serve customers better.
  6. Achieve high customer satisfaction with decision makers.
  7. Play a key ambassador role for Airtel Nigeria and Africa Group
  8. Oversee successful execution at every stage of the sales process
  9. Identify business opportunities and synergy with customers in areas of cooperation.
  10. Identify reciprocal businesses and areas of cooperation whenever there are opportunities.
  11. Provide one-stop ICT experience to customers regarding all Airtel services. lead bids or RFPs to ensure proposals are submitted in order to win; ensure that all customers’ pre-sales & post-sales enquiries and works orders, commercial documents, dealings with customers are promptly attended to  documented and kept.

Qualification and Experience

  • Degree in Business, Finance or other relevant field (or equivalent).
  • Masters of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Membership in related professional organizations
  • Certifications accreditation in relevant areas
  • 6 to 8 years experience in consultative selling to, and relationship management of, large multi-national corporations.
  • Sales management experience.
  • 4 years telecommunications experience and  2 years management experience
