The Deputy Governor of Borno State, Alhaji Zannah Mustapha, on Monday said no northerner in their right frame of mind would vote the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2015 general elections.

He said that the PDP candidate in the 2015 presidential poll, President Goodluck Jonathan, had shown that he did not “have what it takes to end the lingering Boko Haram crisis that has almost crippled the zone”.

The deputy governor made the assertion while presenting the keys to the 75 vehicles donated by the All Progressives Congress candidate for Borno North senatorial seat, Abubakar Kyari, to party faithful at the Government House, Maiduguri.

He said, “Any northerner that voted for the PDP is not in his right sense, as the PDP government has failed in its responsibility of bringing to an end the lingering Boko Haram crisis in the North-East and the North in general”.

Mustapha added: “Insha-Allah, come the 2015, the APC will form government at the federal level and win all elective positions on offer in Borno State”.
