Real’s Rodriguez Stars in Cornella Rout

James Rodriguez’s brace helped Real Madrid clinch their seventeenth consecutive win over Cornella in the Copa del Rey fourth round on Tuesday.

Real routed Cornella 5-0 at the Bernebeu to complete a 9-1 hammering, having led 4-1 from the first leg.

The Colombian forward scored twice in the first half, either side of Isco’s strike. His first came via an Isco assist, before firing home from outside the area having been teed up by Javier Hernandez. Rodriguez also provided the assist for Real’s second.
