According to reports, he was angered over a phone conversation she was having and when he gave her a signal to end the call, she misinterpreted his gesture as a sign to lower her voice ..So , she lowered her voice and continued the call.
Thinking she disobeyed him , the infuriated Baale pounced on her, hitting her repeatedly with a chair,and stabbing her with a broken bottle on her back…He only retreated when she fainted.She was rushed to the hospital by neighbours who watched the drama unfold ..
