Ujah Secures Bremen Win Against West Ham

Anthony Ujah scored twice as Werder Bremen came from behind to beat West Ham 2-1 in a pre-season friendly on Sunday.

Diafra Sakho gave the Hammers the lead but it was short-lived as Ujah blasted home from long range to restore parity.

The former FC Cologne hitman then struck another beautiful goal a minute after the half-hour mark to seal victory for the Bundesliga side.

Sakho poked home a Dimitri Payet cross from the right on 19 minutes to open scoring for coach Slaven Bilic’s side.

Ujah leveled for Bremen a minute later with a superb shot from 25 yards which went straight through goalkeeper Adrian.

The Nigeria international then evaded James Tomkins in the opponents’ penalty area and shot across Adrian into the bottom right corner.
