The immediate past Governor of Abia State, and the Senator representing Abia Central, Chief Theodore Orji, has expressed deep shock over the brutal murder of his former Aide, Ben Onyechere by suspected assassins.
Onyechere, a former Special Assistant on Media to Orji was abducted last Sunday in Owerri Imo State and later found dead.
Orji described the murder of the late Onyechere as barbaric and evil and tasked the security agencies to fish out those behind the dastardly act.
“Even though the lives of those cowards who committed this dastardly act cannot atone for his precious life, I urge the Nigeria Police, especially the Inspector-General of Police and Imo State Police Commissioner to do all within their powers to investigate and ensure that they are brought to book.”
The senator condoled with the family of his late aide while praying God to grant the soul of the deceased eternal repose in heaven.
