So Unhealthy: See The Chicken Allegedly Fed To Primary School Pupils In Cross River (Photo)

A Facebook user and strong critic of Cross River government, Ifere Paul, has taken to the social networking platform to lambast the state Governor, Ben Ayade, over his home grown feeding program in the state.

Paul, who is the offcial language translator at Aso Villa in Abuja, posted a picture of the supposed chicken which are being fed to primary school pupils as he lamented that the chicken parts which were served to the students were rotten and spoilt.

Below is what he shared on Facebook;

“This is the chicken which Cross River State government is feeding primary school pupils in Cross River State.

The SSA on Home Grown Feeding Program to the Governor of Ben Ayade of Cross River State is buying this chicken from Uyo.

By the time they fried the chicken and bring to Calabar, some are already rotten and smelling before they reach places like Odukpani, Akampkpa, Biase, Yakurr, Obubra, etc.

It is very bad that government can be this mean. It is so sad that people appointed to serve are the same people fowling the efforts of the federal government in Cross River State.

The President must hear this.”
